Volunteer grounds work at Nameless Cemetery

Grounds work is the most immediate need. Mowing, trimming, fence repair, headstone cleaning, and general upkeep keep the cemetery accessible and respectful. We organize work days before major events and as seasonal needs arise.

Next work day: Early April 2026 (date TBD), in preparation for the April 18 Return to Nameless event. If you'd like to help, reach out and let us know.

Donate

Donations support mowing costs, fence repair, headstone restoration, and long-term preservation. The association is working toward 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. In the meantime, donations can be made directly to the association.

Share What You Know

If your family has connections to Nameless Cemetery or the Nameless community, your stories and records matter. Old photos, letters, family Bibles, burial records, and oral history all help build a more complete picture of the people buried here.

We are especially interested in:

  • Photos of headstones, the cemetery, or the community (any era)
  • Family genealogy records connecting to burials at Nameless
  • Stories about the Nameless community, the schoolhouse, or the families here
  • Corrections or additions to our burial records

Please contact us with your stories. Every detail helps preserve the record.

Attend an Event

The annual meeting (first Saturday in October) and community events at the Nameless Schoolhouse are the best way to connect with the association and meet other families with ties to this place.

Spread the Word

Follow us on Facebook and share our posts. If you know someone with family connections to Nameless Cemetery, point them our way. Many descendants don't know the association exists.

Also follow Friends of Nameless School, the nonprofit that preserves the historic 1909 schoolhouse next door. The school and cemetery share the same land and the same community.
